Jeffrey Preston Bezos, popularly known as Jeff Bezos was born on 12 January, 1964 in Albuquerque, U.S. is an American business magnet and investor.

He was the founder and executive chairman of Amazon, one of the best online shopping platform.

Bezos founded Amazon in 1994 and at first, the company began as an online bookstore and has since expanded to a variety of other e-commerce products and services which includes video and audio streaming, Cloud computing and AI.
 
Amazon is currently the world's largest sales company, the largest internet company by revenue, and the world's largest provider of virtual assistants through its Amazon web services branch.

With a net worth of more than $200 billion as of June 2021, Jeff Bezos is the richest person in the world according to both Forbes and Bloomberg's Billionaires Index.

Surprisingly,  Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon , has resigned as C.E.O. of Amazon by naming Andy Jassy as his replacement. However, Bezos will continue as the Executive chairman of Amazon board.
