5G TECHNOLOGY

In telecom language, 'G' stands for 'Generation'. Hence, 5G stands for 5th generation which will be the most popular word in the coming 10 to 15 years.

5G technology is specially designed to fulfill the demands of current technological trends and to overcome the drawbacks of present 4G technology. It's a fact that this 5G will rule the entire world for many years.

Let's see the difference between 4G and 5G technologies

4G VS 5G:

1. The main feature that every netizen want is the speed( network speed). 5G technology will greatly increase the speed of cellular networks.

The maximum speed of 4G technology is approximately 60 MBPS and the maximum speed of the upcoming 5G will be approximately 15 to 20 GBPS which will provide more bandwidth when compared to 4G. By using 5G technology, we can download a movie within seconds which reduces users time.

2. The signals used in 4G are very large such that they can travel to far places and few cell towers are enough for a town and there is no restriction by buildings and trees.

 The signals that are using in 5G are small when compared to 4G. Hence, the number of cell towers to implement 5G technology will be more. Due to small signals, trees and buildings will obstruct the flow of cellular waves.

3. Human health will be one of the crucial factor in any generation. The 5G technology will affect human life more effectively than 4G technology. At any generation, the cellular waves coming from cell towers will cause health issues to humans and even animals( especially birds)

The electromagnetic radio waves that comes from these cellular towers may cause damage to retina, ears and skin and even birds will die due to these waves.

Finally, 5G is set to offer much faster connection speeds than the previous cellular generations.
